About the PTSA

The Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is a partnership between families, teachers and students. Together, we create community and support our school. Kimball PTSA has no requirements like membership fees, required levels of participation or mandatory donations.

What Does the PTSA Do?

We fund school and classroom support:

$300 cash grants to teachers to fund classroom needs
Recess staff
All student supplies
Class field trips
A portion of school supplies like copier paper and Kleenex
Team Read - where high school students come and provide extra literacy support to students.

We sponsor, fund and organize community events:

Back to school BBQ
Heritage Night, supported by Kimball Kitchen
Lunar New Year
After school clubs
Teacher appreciation week

We serve as a communication liaison through the Cougar Connection and Kimball PTSA website.

All of these activities are supported through PTSA-led fundraising. Individual donations help support our school, and our biggest fundraiser is the annual Move-A-Thon.
